This registration session will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents, submit payment and select a tryout session. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card information available.
Tryouts will be Sunday, March 1st at the Mankato Peppers Training Facility (130 W. Ruth Street, Mankato, MN 56001)

*There is a chance tryouts could possibly be done sooner than 2:30 pm. Parents/guardians, please be back to the facility by 2:15 pm
What if I cannot make tryouts?
If you can make it to the scheduled tryout date, that would be most ideal. In the event you have prior commitments and this day/time does not work, please email pepperstravel2@gmail.com to request a makeup tryout date.

We do not offer scholarships for Travel fees at this time.
NEW AS OF AUGUST 2025 - Players living in or outside of ISD #77 are eligible to try out for an 8U team, however roster spots are not guaranteed - numbers may dictate cuts.

Team formation will be dependent on the number of players that try out. At the 8U level, our goal is that everyone that wants to play 8U travel is placed on a team. However, numbers will truly drive this and the team formation as we typically shoot for a minimum need of 11 to form a team and maximum of 13 players on a team. If we have enough players for two teams, we will split them into two even teams.
A new age rule will be put into effect for the 2026 Travel and SSL, at all age levels.
USA Softball and USSSA Softball have both transitioned to the new age cutoff to more align with school grade. The birthday cutoff is now Aug. 31st, and no longer Dec. 31st. Please reference the chart above.

Uniforms for all travel teams in the 2026 season have not yet been finalized. Uniform information will be forwarded as soon as it's available.
ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE A PLAYER CAN ORDER THEIR UNIFORMS.
ALL PEPPERS TRAVEL PLAYERS MUST HAVE ORANGE HELMETS WITH A PEPPERS "P" STICKER ON THE FRONT. Helmets can be purchased directly through Play It Again Sports. If your daughter already has an orange helmet that was purchased through UTE, they will not be required to update and purchase a new helmet through Play It Again Sports - their old orange helmet will be acceptable.
For every player on a traveling team, a deposit of ONE- $400 check is required per family. Each family will be responsible for 6 hours of parent volunteering for the current season. When all 6 hours have been completed, the check will be shredded. Payments must be in the form of a check and DUE AT TRYOUTS. Checks should be dated July 1, 2026 payable to "MAGFA".
